conserver-server software package provides connect multiple user to a serial console with logging, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install conserver-server
conserver-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the conserver-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep conserver-server *
You will get with conserver-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
